ACS’s mission is to eliminate cancer. Thanks to their research and patient support, for the first time in history more people were surviving cancer than dying. That data point brought us to a powerful thought: Advantage Humans. Cancer is a formidable opponent, but it is no match for our collective humanity. I led a passionate team of humans at DDB Chicago to pitch, win and relaunch ACS and increase donations 15%.
We partnered with cancer survivors to produce the campaign, both in front of and behind the camera including director Rodrigo Garcia Saiz and Photographer Sandro Miller. Advertising may not be brain surgery but there’s no feeling like using the power of creativity to help save lives.
