To refresh the Aulani brand, differentiating the upscale family resort from just another park experience, the Yellow Shoes team turned to the rich tradition of Hawaiian storytelling. Culture and legends that inspired Disney Imagineers in the creation of this unique experience. Partnering with documentary filmmaker and in-house photographer, we followed real families using tales of Hawaiian lore to narrate their unforgettable journeys. The result was the heartfelt brand platform: Let Your Legend Begin.
