With a two billion dollar investment and years of co-creation, Yellow Shoes helped bring Star Wars to life at Walt Disney World and Disneyland simultaneously. The expansion was the biggest in the park's history, and a bet that Wookiees and Stormtroopers would draw visitors as well as princesses. Partnering with Lucas Films, Disney Imagineering, McGarry Bowen and Hungry Man director, Wayne McClammy to build excitement for the innovative new land before it was finished with movie making magic. Storytelling, story living and story selling like never before for fans, old and new. After the lands opened in 2019, Disney's Parks, Experiences and Products segment saw an 8% increase in revenue and a 17% increase in operating income over the previous year.

To launch Disney’s most epic and innovative attraction to date, we celebrated fans who embodied the Resistance. Telling inspiring stories of everyday heroes inspired by Star Wars films, from prosthetic light sabers to finding your people amongst aliens in a bar.
World’s First Hologram Lens
"Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi..” What’s more iconic than the Star Wars Hologram? Our aim was to create a more interactive and innovative guest experience for this immersive new land. We partnered with Snapchat to create the first ever Hologram filter. Putting fans at the center of the story.
