The brief was for a spot to launch Pixar’s Toy Story Land on the Oscars. The big idea to follow an iconic giant Pixar ball to it’s new home at Walt Disney World was much bigger than that. We collaborated with media, marketing, in-house, agency and production partners to create an epic award winning journey across the country and across platforms to the surprise and delight of fans and followers.

Toy Story Land:
Pixar Street View
Since the release of the original “Toy Story”, Pixar has been known for hiding Easter Eggs in their films. Keeping fans searching for Pixar inside jokes and references. When it came time for Toy Story Land to be captured on Google Street View, the Yellow Shoes team saw a chance to bring this tradition to life in a brand-new way and bring fans to the park for literally zero media dollars. Making an impression rather than buying one, building brand reputation and fan loyalty.
